24/7 specialist coverage
Neonatal specialists are healthcare providers with specific training in caring for newborns. Through our alliance with New York Children’s Medical Providers Services, P.C., an affiliate of the nationally ranked health system Connecticut Children’s, your newborn will be cared for by a team of pediatric specialists in the wellborn nursery.

Family-centered care
We emphasize care and comfort for your whole family. Each maternity room has space for a birth partner to stay overnight. We also offer a family-centered cesarean birth option, where doctors use drapes designed for parents to easily view their child’s delivery.

Holistic laboring options
Women have access to services from both midwives and doctors. For women who want a more natural birth experience, we provide multiple options for pain management, as well as birthing tubs for births or laboring.

Breastfeeding support
Lactation specialists are available seven days a week. After discharge, these specialists lead a breastfeeding support group for new parents.

Donor milk drop-offs
Our hospital is a Milk Depot with the New York Milk Bank. This service makes milk drop-offs convenient for donors and increases access to breast milk. The milk bank distributes donations to hundreds of babies across the state.
