Infusion Therapy

Nuvance Health hospitals offer infusion therapy for noncancerous conditions. A referral from your doctor is required to begin.

Should you, a friend or loved one require an infusion or infusion therapy for something other than cancer, Nuvance Health® is ready to help.  Our Infusion Centers are conveniently located and staffed with experienced nurses who routinely administer injectable medications and intravenous (IV) therapy for a variety of conditions.

Our centers prioritize safety, and our compassionate staff is ready to care for you during your infusion. You have access to an individual plan based on your specific needs. Staff members will guide you through all aspects of your treatment.

 

Infusion Therapy for Many Conditions
 The nurses and care team are skilled at delivering infusions for many conditions that require treatment with injectable medications, including:

  • Crohn’s disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Red blood cell stimulation (such as Aranesp and Epogen)
  • Rheumatoid arthritis

Outpatient Infusion Center Services

Our infusion centers meet the specific needs of patients and offer many services, including:

  • Antibiotic therapy
  • Blood transfusions
  • Home infusion assistance
  • Hydration therapy
  • Infection-fighting therapy (immunoglobulin treatments)
  • Iron overload therapy (therapeutic phlebotomy)
  • Iron replacement therapy
  • IV catheter care and maintenance
