Our compassionate women’s health team provides personalized care for women in New Milford, Connecticut. Currently, we welcome new patients for behavioral health services, and plan to expand our offerings in the upcoming months.

Our nurse navigator is here to support you through your healthcare journey, whether you need routine wellness visits, family planning advice or specialized gynecologic care. They can help you find Nuvance Health clinicians that have specialty training in women's health focused care including cardiology, gastroenterology, breast surgery, gynecologic cancer services and primary care.

Our goal is to ensure you receive comprehensive and coordinated care, including:

Patient education: Provide information about medical conditions, treatment options and preventive care specific to women's health.
Care coordination: Schedule appointments, coordinate with various healthcare professionals and ensure follow through with treatment plans.
Advocacy and emotional support: Act as an advocate for patients, to ensure needs and preferences are respected and addressed throughout the healthcare experience.
Resource management: Connect patients with community resources, support groups and financial assistance programs to help manage their health and well-being.

If you’re looking for a little more support (or a lot) – we can help. Women’s Wellness Center at New Milford Hospital has a women's focused therapist and psychiatrist on staff for you. It’s easy to get in touch. You can call us at (860) 210-5535 or ask your doctor or specialist to make a referral for you. Sessions are available in person and by telehealth visits. Teens 13+ are welcome.

Carolyn Antonion, LCSW:

Carolyn Antonion, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years' experience in behavioral health. Carolyn received her master's degree from Fordham University in 2013 and has worked in community mental health, family and youth services, assisted living and memory care facilities, inpatient substance abuse, and most recently in a women's-focused group private practice. She utilizes CBT, ACT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and motivational interviewing in her work with patients. Prior to becoming an LCSW, she was a massage therapist for 10 years.
