The Pleasant Valley native enjoys helping patients manage chronic conditions as well as educating them on preventative health measures to help them feel their best.
Scharff has worked in healthcare since 2015, as a physician assistant with Enhanced Family Medicine in Yorktown, NY, a patient care associate at Albany Medical Center and as Pleasant Valley’s summer camp healthcare director.
“I was drawn to family medicine as the most rewarding specialty because it is an opportunity to truly connect with patients and support their health and wellness through the different stages of life,” she said.
She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has additional training in mental health first aid.
In 2020, Scharff completed her training through Marist College in Poughkeepsie and holds a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. She is a member of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, she loves gardening, trying new plant-based recipes and going for walks with her two dogs.
