Family medicine provider Cynthia Heng recently re-joined Nuvance Health Medical Practice in New Fairfield, Conn.
Heng is a family nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, with more than six years of advance practice experience and more than 12 years as a hospital-based registered nurse. She provides primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
“I value the importance of developing a strong and trusting relationship with my patients to provide comprehensive and quality care,” said the Danbury native.
Early last year, Heng left the New Fairfield primary care office and relocated to Miami, Florida, where she worked at Baptist Health’s urgent care. However, she has spent most of her career at Nuvance Health. At Danbury Hospital, she was a medical-surgical registered nurse from 2010 to 2016 and in New Fairfield’s primary care office, she saw patients from 2016 through 2019.
Fluent in English and Chinese, she loves the great outdoors and kickboxing, and unwinds with a good book.
