Dr. Cynthia Groves is ready to help her patients stay healthy as the newest family doctor to join Nuvance Health Medical Practice in New Canaan, Conn.
“My goal is to create an inviting atmosphere in the exam room, where patient feel at ease and comfortable,” she said.
Dr. Groves comes from Griffin Faculty Physicians in Southbury, Conn., where she practiced family medicine.
Before relocating to Wilton, Conn., she spent several years in Chattanooga, Tennessee, gaining valuable experiences in medicine.
The board-certified physician completed a residency at the University of Chattanooga College of Medicine. She holds her medical degree from the same university and spent some time working as a technician in the emergency department of a local hospital.
She joins Dr. Aesha Patel to make up a team of all women doctors in the New Canaan location.
When she’s not with patients, Dr. Groves enjoys being outdoors and exploring the northeast with her husband and dog. She loves DIY-type projects and football.
