After a decade of caring for patients in New York City, Dr. Sejal Parekh recently joined Nuvance Health Medical Practice and will see patients in the Wilton, Conn., primary care office.
“My patients can expect that I will advocate for them and guide them toward optimal health and disease prevention,” said Parekh, a board-certified family medicine physician. She is accepting new patients, age 18 and up.
Most recently, the doctor was medical director of a Queens County-based family medicine community clinic, Medisys Clocktower, which is affiliated with Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. She completed her residency with Jamaica Hospital in 2014 and was subsequently hired by the health system.
A graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, she holds a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree – the study of “whole person” patient care.
“In an increasingly complex medical world, having one doctor who knows your health history is so important,” she said.
Wilton’s Nuvance Health Medical Practice is at 249 Danbury Road. To make an appointment, call (203) 762-3353 or TTY/accessibility (800) 842-9710.
