Bringing 14 years of healthcare experience, Kassandra Paulino joined Nuvance Health Medical Practice in Southbury as a primary care nurse practitioner.
The Danbury resident and western Connecticut native sees adults of all ages, from young adults to seniors.
Prior to earning her adult gerontology nurse practitioner certification, she was:
- A home healthcare registered nurse serving Danbury, Southbury and Norwalk.
- A medical/surgical nurse at Danbury Hospital, working with a variety of patients, including those recovering from strokes.
- A nurse practitioner-in-training at Nuvance Health Medical Practice’s Danbury primary care location as well as with an orthopedic doctor’s office.
Paulino received her master’s degree in nursing from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minor in psychology from the same university.
The nurse practitioner enjoys being outside in the sun “with plenty of sunscreen,” she added, as well as listening to audiobooks and being with her family.
