Yes, you will receive a receipt within two weeks. For online gifts, you receive an email as soon as the transaction is complete. The email thanks you for your gift and serves as your receipt.

To be sure your gift is applied to the appropriate program, take the following steps:

When mailing a check:

• Include a note or write the program name in the check’s memo line.

For online gifts:

• Select the program in the dropdown menu.
• If your preferred program is not listed, select “other” and type it in.
• You can also include a comment on the donation form.

If you wish to remain anonymous:

When mailing a check: Include a note explaining that you wish to give anonymously.

For online gifts: In the online form, check the box indicating “I would like this gift to remain anonymous.”

By law, a gift must be applied in the manner designated by the donor. When you select a specific hospital, department or program, that is precisely where the gift will go.
